Jimmy Osterberg Jr. is wearing Jim Morrison’s brown leather pants in this video (Morrison wears them most famously during the 68 Hollywood Bowl show) – Jimmy got a trunk full of Morrison’s clothes after his death from Jim’s girlfriend Pamela Courson knowing he was a Morrison fan and acquaintance. Story goes that he sold everything for drugs soon after they came to his possession, he did keep the leather pants that he is seen wearing on this video and that are currently shown at Hard Rock Cafe, which had to be trimmed on the bottom to fit his height.

Rare footage of Iggy Pop and James Williamson 1970s
Rare footage from the 70’s with Iggy and James Williamson. Footage shot by that dick Ivan Kral of the Patti Smith group. Some great shots of James Williamson on his Firebird. Firebird pickups gave a sweet and slutty sound though James gravitated towards an LP eventually because supposedly Iggy liked it better.

Ron Asheton Interview 1988 Pt 2
Ron Asheton Interview 1988. Part 2 of great interview with legendary Stooges guitarist (and bassist for Raw Power in 73). Ron on early Stooges show audience reactions – “People couldn’t understand. They enjoyed it, they were fascinated by it. It was sort of like driving by an accident, and there’s a car wreck. You naturally slow down, you know it’s a bad situation, you want to see if there’s some blood…”
For the raw power tour Ron actually switched over to BASS when Iggy brought on James Williamson for guitar duties. James Williamson looked cool and sounded great specially with the Bowie production on the record. Iggy has said obnoxious things in interviews when on the topic of the original Stooges like “I was the smart one..” etc. which is funny and kind of classic Ig in a way, but he wouldn’t have been shit without the Asheton brothers, period.
Those two were badass and an integral component in that BAND, which is a phenomenon guys like Iggy have difficulty comprehending at times it seems. RIP Ron and Scotty.
